This was one of those purchases where the adage, "If it seems too good to be true..." but, the charger works as well or better others that I've purchased (for to ) for previous phones. I had to use it maybe 5 or 6 times in the last couple of months and it has always worked just fine. I use this charger only as a back up for the times when I can't use the base charger at home. These chargers do tend to get a bit warm, which is always disconcerting but it hasn't gotten alarmingly hot (or burst into flames) but I would never leave it plugged in and unattended. Even if it quit now I feel that since it cost only 99¢ + shipping I've already gotten my money's worth and I would probably buy another one as long as it didn't burst into flames when it quit.
